August 13, 2010“Compose and Design the Portrait and Landscape”
Featured Artist in American Watercolor magazine, Stan Miller is holding a paint workshop September 13-16, 2010 for the San Diego Watercolor Society. This workshop, “Compose and Design the Portrait and Landscape” will enrich your expertise in creating award-winning paintings, regardless of your subject matter. Every morning, Stan will offer a portrait or a landscape demonstration, using styles from realism to impressionism to abstraction. In the workshop, this renowned artist will individually encourage and assist each student equally, and students will have the option of working from their imagination, their own photos or from instructor handouts. Additionally, the importance of composition and design will be demonstrated and discussed.
Join us September 13 – 16, 2010 in our beautiful, light-filled education center at our centrally located gallery at the NTC Promenade in Point Loma. $400 for members, $425 for non-members. Workshop runs 9 AM – 3:30 PM Monday through Thursday.
