United States Karate Academy Hosting 2009 Southern California Regional Tang Soo Do Championships

The United States Karate Academy will be hosting the 2009 Southern California Regional Tang Soo Do Championships on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Point Loma High School, located at 2335 Chatsworth Blvd., San Diego, CA 92106. Events will begin at 8:00 AM and will run until approximately 3:00 PM. Attendance is expected to be between 300 to 500 participants and spectators.
All ages from two to seventy years old and all ranks from white belt to 3rd Degree Black Belt will be competing in traditional forms, weapons & sparring. The highlight of the event will be the presence of martial arts legend, Grandmaster Jae C. Shin, the original instructor of Chuck Norris and founder of the World Tang Soo Do Association.
