Organic Wine Tasting

MELLOW, a wine bar at Liberty Station is hosting an Organic Wine Tasting Wednesday, November 28th from 6-8 PM.  $20 includes light appetizers. 

Tim Ward from Chambers & Chambers will be on hand to discuss the organic wine industry.   The following wine will be sampled:  

  • Lynmar Chardonnay  Russian River
  • Tandem Chardonnay Russian River
  • Inman Family Pinot Gris Russian River
  • Montemaggiore Syrah, Dry Creek

Nine & Wine Special

November 27, 2007

Sail Ho Golf Club & Wine Steals at Liberty Station will be putting on an event for the San Diego Foundation After-the-Fires Fund 2007 / Respond, Recover, Rebuild.  On Saturday, December 1, 2007, they will be having a Wine & Nine golf outing & wine tasting, four-player scramble at $75.00 per player.  There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd!!!

The Event will start at 1:00 pm, and at the same time with its Liberty Station Neighbors– Wine Steals will be hosting the main portion of the event on the patio at $50.00 per person.  Sail Ho Golf Club and Wine Steals is located at 2960 and 2970 Truxtun Road, San Diego, CA 92106.

This is an opportunity for you to help our fellow San Diegans by donating any extra money, clothes, toys or dry goods that you might have to this event. We will also be hosting a Silent Auction during the event (any donations would be highly appreciated).  Please come join the festivities and feel good about your days’ effort by participating in the event for the San Diego Foundation After-the-Fires Fund 2007 / Respond, Recover, Rebuild.

“Celebrating with Family & Friends” Exhibition

bundle-of-joy_bandish.jpgSan Diego Watercolor Society juried members’ exhibition “Celebrating with Family & Friends” is on display, with original paintings by San Diego artists, from Dec 3-29.  Pictured is “Bundle of Joy ” by Drew Bandish.  Everyone is invited to the reception on Friday, December 7th from 5-8pm. This is a FREE event!

San Diego Watercolor Society (SDWS) presents an exhibition of original watercolor paintings entitled “Celebrating with Family & Friends” for the month of December. The exhibition was juried by local artist, teacher and SDWS member Drew Bandish. Approximately 80 paintings created by SDWS members are on display and for sale, through December 29. SDWS gallery is located in the NTC Promenade, at Liberty Station in Point Loma at 2825 Dewey Road #105, San Diego, CA 92106. 

SDWS is one of the most respected non-profit watermedia organizations in the U.S.  The topnotch gallery showcases monthly exhibitions of member paintings presented for sale.  A large light-filled space is also available for workshops, led every month by world-class instructors.  The current 800 members are encouraged to use all forms of water based media, including acrylics and mixed media. Members can also take advantage of the extensive library of books and videotapes. Presidential Evening with Richard Lederer

Please join High Tech High for A Presidential Evening with Richard Lederer: The Feats, Fates, Families, Foibles, and Firsts of Our American Presidents.  This is a performance and book signing to support the High Tech High Village on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 7:00PM located at High Tech High International, 2855 Farragut Road, San Diego, CA  92106 at Liberty Station in Point Loma.
