NTC Historic Walking Tour
July 2, 2007Next time you stroll around Liberty Station, pick up a map in the Command Center (bldg 200) and follow the “new” NTC Historic Walking Tour located inside the map.
This 1.3 mile (minus site #15, USS Recruit) self-guided tour takes you to prominent sites around the NTC Historic District and explains who and what was here before all of us.
As you walk from marker to marker, you can also get an expanded story by calling, FREE, our Guide By Cell tour on your cell phone and following the prompts (408.794.0858).
Historic Walking Tour Maps will also be able to be downloaded and printed from LibertyStation.com very soon.

Wow, this is really cool. I just downloaded the map. I can’t wait to do the walk and get the audio tour from my phone! I’d think this will be a popular addition to NTC and especially fleet week activities.
