April 24, 20076th Annual Point Loma Garden Walk – This is a great event in the Point Loma community and it raises money for a great cause, the Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary. The Point Loma Garden Walk features self-guided tours of approximately 15 gardens, four Home Tours, a Garden Boutique, and refreshments. This year’s event will be held in the historically rich Plumosa Park neighborhood of Point Loma.
Saturday, April 28, 10 am to 4 pm
Start at Plumosa Park, 3615 Lotus Drive
Coldstone Creamery/KIT: Kids Included Together Mini-Carnival
Come to the new Coldstone at The Marketplace at Liberty Station for face painting, a juggler, entertainment, games for kids, a contest to create a KIT Flavor and more! Help raise money for KIT and, of course, eat ice cream! Mmmmmmm.
Coldstone will be giving 50% of its profits to a variety of groups in the community next week. Following is their giving schedule:
Saturday, April 28th – San Diego Humane Society (they will also be doing animal adoptions onsite)
Sunday, April 29th – KIT (Fun kids activities in the courtyard)
Monday, April 30th – Correia Middle School
Tuesday, May 1st – Dana Middle School
Wednesday, May 2nd – High Tech High Village Schools
Thursday, May 3rd – Loma Portal Elementary School
Friday, May 4th – Pt Loma High (Sophomores & Junior Classes)
